Divine Principles of Consciousness

– The Divine Principles are States of Ultimate Reality and are therefore permanent, unchanging and beyond time. Therefore we add “Divine” to “Principles of Consciousness”.

Ego-reduction

Ego-reduction in the Integral Teachings is the process by which the ego is recognized and analyzed to the point that it is reduced in its importance.

Enneagram

Fire Exercise

Five Anatomical Cavities

The five anatomical cavities are the pelvic, abdominal, thoracic, cranial, and dorsal cavities. These five cavities are five different Centers of Attention that can be awakened with Light, mantram and Objective Forms or symbols during meditation. They are also associated with the five Elements of Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Space.

Five Realms of Existence and Knowledge

– The Vital, Social, Emotional-Moral, Mental, and Spiritual Realms are the five areas of human experience, correlated with the anatomical cavities. The states of Freedom (Vital), Security (Social), Love (Emotional–Moral), Awareness (Mental), and Light (Spiritual) are foundational to Arica’s map of human experience.

Fixations

(Ego-Fixations) Nine distinct ego structures or patterns developed in early childhood which lead to repetitive and mechanical behavior and suffering. See also “Trifix”. (link)

Hypergnostic

From the Greek hyper (beyond) and gnosis (knowledge); meaning transcendental or higher knowledge.

Innate Awareness

The natural Awareness (State of Enlightenment) inside every human being that is awakened through meditation.

Integral Philosophy

Ichazo’s Integral Philosophy integrates metaphysics, theology and science into the study of the primordial question of what Ultimate Reality is. Integral Philosophy presents a logic (Trialectics) capable of understanding “reality as it is”.

Levels of Consciousness

The Levels of Consciousness training is the study of the nine lower Levels of the human psyche, founded upon the subjectivity of the lower ego, and the nine higher Levels of the human psyche that establish the objectivity that leads into the State of Enlightenment. The basis of this structure is the natural human organism with its own predetermined organs and their corresponding organic functions. (Ichazo, HITv2, 1993)
